4th October, 1957, the launch of the Earth's first artificial satellite, Sputnik 1. Millions wait with bated breath. A beach ball spins elegantly through space.

A revival of David Hastings' critically acclaimed play which toured over 20 countries retelling the story of one of the most unique decades in history, The Space Race. From its flash point in 1957 to the climactic Apollo 11 landing, all told by two actors with just a box of everyday objects.

Originally produced by the Oxford Playhouse with support from the British Council. Revival produced by DDS and the Fletcher Players.
